American Spaniel Club National Flushing Show- January, 2005. Paul's Photography
Our dogs are first, and foremost, our PETS. All of our puppies are born and raised in our home.
We participate in conformation showing (dog shows) and will soon begin agility & obedience, as well.
We do not have litters very often, but when we do, we take it seriously. We do not breed cockers simply to "sell puppies." We will only breed a litter when we want a new puppy for ourselves, and have other friends or pre-approved homes waiting for one of our very special puppies.
We are selective in our breeding program, and our goal is to produce healthy, happy cockers who conform to the standard set forth for the breed by the American Spaniel Club.
We do occasionally have puppies available to approved homes. We require, and check, references from a veterinarian and a neighbor. Our puppies must be kept as indoor pets. Cockers are NOT "outside dogs." They are extremely people-oriented and are happy only when they are a part of their family. We DO NOT sell puppies for breeding purposes. We require a spay/neuter contract and only sell puppies with limited AKC registration.
We have a mandatory "Take-Back" policy, meaning that if, for any reason, a puppy buyer cannot keep the dog, the dog MUST be returned to us. This is for the entire life of the dog.
Our love of cockers started many years ago, and we continue to educate ourselves in every aspect of the breed. We feel there is always more that we can learn! We are fortunate to be mentored by some of the breed's finest, most successful, highly-respected fanciers.
We are happy to answer questions, and if we can't help you, we're certainly happy to direct you to someone who can! Feel free to email us!
