"Dogs lives are far too short; their only fault, really."- Agnes Sligh Turnbull

Just before Christmas, 2004, we lost a very special member of our family; our beloved "Rider." There are no words to describe the pain of losing him. We feel a huge void every day without him. He was the most perfect dog, and the only thing he ever did to disappoint us, was leave too soon. He lived a full, happy, meaningful life. He brought joy to all who knew him, and set a fine example that most people would be wise to follow! Rider was the sweetest puppy in his litter! He grew up to be a champion show dog, a therapy dog, a Canine Good Ambassador, sire of champions and therapy dogs, and most importantly, Best Friend in The World. We will always miss our "Rider-Biter", but take joy in being blessed with his wonderful "kids" who carry on his wonderful, loving ways.

Dearest Rider, Thank you so very much, from the bottom of our hearts, for sharing your life with us. You gave us the greatest joy and happiness. You taught us many important lessons about life that no human ever could. You always gave us your whole heart, unconditionally, and asked for nothing in return. We are better people because of you. We will never forget you, and will love you forever. We look forward to the day when we can see you and your smile, and wagging tail again. God bless you, my sweet boy.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
